In each calendar year, each student will have 32 lessons. You can either pay the yearly tuition fee up front in full, pay via transfer, or pay by post dated cheques over the ten month teaching calendar. Again, please be advised that these monthly payments are not calculated by how many lessons each student had that month but they are payment towards the yearly tuition cost.
Monthly rates are as follows:
30 min lessons $65
45 min lessons $105
60 min lessons $145
I am also happy to explain about my family/neighbour discount. This discount applies in instances where I am able to continue teaching within the same household. Ie. Families with more than one child or neighbours just down the street from each other. This is reflective of the fact that as I am traveling to each student’s home. The ease of continuing lessons in the same household allows me to teach more efficiently as there is no time wasted traveling to the next student’s house.
The Family and Neighbour Discount
Applies to any families with 2 or more children. You are then eligible to receive $5 dollars off each child’s monthly tuition fee.
Please be advised that all payments must be made through etransfers, post dated cheques, cash on the first lesson of every month, or via credit card through paypal. (Note: there is a 3% processing fee included when paying via paypal)
Make up lessons policy
As my time is reserved for you for the year only 2 lessons are excusable with 24 hours notice given for lesson absence. Any lessons missed for any reason after the 2 excused absences are non refundable. Thanks!
